Everything You Need to Know
We want your Christmas session to be as joyful and seamless as possible. We’ve gathered answers to a few common questions below to help you prepare for the magic. If your question isn’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
What should our family wear?
We recommend comfortable, cozy clothing in coordinating colours (not necessarily matching!). Think warm knits, textures, and neutral or festive tones like creams, browns, deep reds, or forest greens. Christmas pyjamas are also a wonderful and fun option! Once you book, you will receive our full prep guide with more tips and inspiration.
Where is the studio located?
Our warm and cozy studio is located at Unit A, 1 Crown Gate, Poundbury, DT1 3EJ. We will send detailed directions and parking information prior to your session.
When should we arrive for our session?
Please arrive at your scheduled time. As we run back-to-back sessions and do not have a waiting area, we cannot accommodate early arrivals. Arriving on time ensures you get to enjoy your full session slot.
Can we include grandparents or other relatives?
Absolutely! We love including extended family to make the photos even more special. Our Silver and Golden packages are best suited for larger groups. Please note that our sessions are designed for up to five people; for larger groups, please contact us for a custom quote.
When and how will we get our photos?
You will receive a link to your private online proofing gallery within 2 weeks of your session. From there, you can select your favourite images included in your package. Your final, fully-edited high-resolution images will be ready for you to download shortly after you make your selection.
What is your cancellation policy if my child is sick?
We understand that illness happens! Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance, and we will be happy to reschedule your session to a new date. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will forfeit the deposit, except in exceptional circumstances.
What if we love all the photos and want more than our package includes?
This is a wonderful problem to have, and it happens often! You will be able to view all the best images from your session in your proofing gallery, and you can easily purchase additional digital images at the rate specified in your package.
